Hue Imperial City, also known as the Citadel of Hue or the Forbidden Purple City, is a historic and cultural marvel located in the city of Hue, Vietnam. It served as the imperial capital of the Nguyen Dynasty, Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty, from 1802 to 1945.
